Andrew Masterson – Founder, Blue Plume Academy | Executive, Career, and Life Coach & Counsellor
I’m Andrew, the founder of Blue Plume Academy. My career began with over 14 years in the British Army, where I served operationally in both Iraq and Afghanistan multiple times. During my service, I was fortunate enough to work alongside multinational partners including the Afghan National Army, Iraqi Police, and Coalition Armed forces across the globe including Hungary, Argentina, the United States, and Australia. From high-intensity warfighting to delicate peacekeeping missions, I learned first-hand the importance of leadership, adaptability, and collaboration under pressure.
After leaving the military, I transitioned into Learning & Development, supporting organisations across the UK and Europe. I’ve partnered with leaders and teams in both corporate and academic environments, helping hundreds of professionals grow in confidence and capability.
I hold a Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Life Coaching and Counselling, and I’m currently completing a Level 7 Executive Coaching and Mentoring qualification. This combination of real-world leadership experience and advanced coaching expertise allows me to support clients holistically, from building professional skills to strengthening personal resilience and wellbeing.
